  1. Gemstone Systems, Inc. is seeking beta test sites for Image Curator,
  2. the first high performance image archive management application
  3. for the NEXTSTEP operating system.

  5. Image Curator provides fast, easy, access to even the largest of
  6. image archives by allowing the creation and maintenance of "digital
  7. contact sheets".  As images are imported into Image Curator, a high
  8. quality thumbnailing algorithm is applied to generate crisp, clean,
  9. thumbnail images.  Image Curator is intended for use with large or
  10. small archives, handling anywhere from ten images to 1000-2000
  11. images with the same level of performance.

  13. The beta test period is expected to last thru early-mid June.

  15. Beta testers should be on the network and able to send/receive
  16. NeXTMail.  If you are interested in applying to be a beta site,
  17. please send the following information to ImageCurator@gemstone.com:

  24. - Version of NEXTSTEP on your system(s).
  25. - Expected # of users.

  27. images, total size of archive, general content of images, etc...)
